The repair on the insurance claim was done very well. The added paint repair was not done well. I was told the hood was to be taken off which was one of the reasons for charging $185. However, there is overspray near the cowl and a gouge in the paint on the hood right next to the repair which was probably made by a knife while removing the masking tape. I was told that the initial repair to the hinge was not satisfactory. So, I assume these issues occurred during the second attempt at repainting it. I, unfortunately, did not notice these issues when I took delivery of the truck. That being said, I will most likely go elsewhere for future repairs.
