The repair was transferred from the Woodridge Calibers to Crystal Lake so only spoke with repair personnel by phone. Quality of work seemed good.

Customer Service

The Crystal Lake personnel kept me informed as to progress every few days. Woodridge personnel had little knowledge of progress.

Caliber folks were all incredibly friendly, accommodating and informative. They were receptive to my safety concerns, made sure to double-check everything, and addressed the items missed by the insurance inspection.

Customer Service

Everyone was kind and helpful. I was kept up to date all along the repair process.

The workmanship was great, it took too long to repair, but I know that was due to a delay with some parts. When there were going to be continuous delays, i would have preferred receiving a phone call as opposed to just a text message. Very friendly staff.

Customer Service

Everyone was very friendly, but as I said earlier - I would’ve preferred a phone call when the car was continuously delayed as opposed to a text message

Very likely. I had a great experience with Caliber Collision in comparison to another repair shop that I had previously gone to in the past. They were extremely communicative, respectful, and were able to describe any and all information to me regarding the car repair. From start to finish it was a 10/10 experience that i would be happy to recommend to all family and friends of mine.

The repair was very well done and looks great. We appreciate that Caliber took the extra effort to touch up some additional paint scuffs.

My car is 8 months old and had been hit twice /two repairs last fall. One backing out of a parking space and another stopped at a red light. Neither my fault. The first repair was done by Caliber Collision in Algonquin. Service, communication all exceeded expectations. The second I preferred to go back to Caliber/Algonquin but due to insurance provisions, I had to go to Crystal Lake. Communication was very good but mostly automated, whereas Algonquin I had more one-on-one conversations. CL was mostly automated text messaging. Both locations were welcoming, organized, friendly! The reason for my low score— I went to the grocery store in my way home after picking up my car and when I went to put items in the cargo area of my SUV, I noticed white paint had sprayed all over the black custom cargo mat I purchased for my new vehicle. I immediately called Caliber and was told I could bring the car in but might have to wait. How and why did this happen in the first place??? The mats in the seated area had been removed because they were not reinstalled properly with all of the clips provided by the mat company. Why was the cargo mat left inside the car if the damages were to the rear bumper and hatch door? I was told I could come back but I had to get home and also, I had groceries in the car. The woman told me that it will come out with soap and water so I decided to try that myself. Well, it didn’t!! I called back and she asked me to make an appointment to bring my car back. The CL location is not close to my house and even though I asked what Caliber would be using to remove it, I didn’t get an answer, she said they have “stuff” that will take it right off. I am concerned that the product used may damage my mat and would like to research it. The company, TuxMat, specifically states the mats should be cleaned with vinegar and water so I am concerned. Not to mention, I work very long hours not leaving me with much availability to sit at your facility, or find the time to get there. I asked if I could drop in when it is convenient and was told that I may have to sit and wait for someone to be available. This had been a huge inconvenience and I am very unhappy with the damage to my mat. The mat is only a few months old and you would think that a reputable body shop would protect the interior of the car when being painted. How in the world did this even happen?
