The root cause of the difficulties I experienced with the simple replacement of a damaged rear view mirror was an erroneous VIN number in the insurance company’s database. Having said that, ABRA (now Caliber Collision) could, and should have recognized that an incorrect part had been ordered and installed. Ultimately, the shop went to extraordinary effort to correct the problem.
