I recently had my Range Rover repaired by Caliber, and overall I’m very happy with the quality of the work. The repairs were completed quickly, and so far my car is running great. I really appreciate the efficiency and the fact that the actual repair work seems to have been done very well. However, I did have a couple of disappointments with the pickup experience. I was told by my service advisor over the phone that my car would be delivered back to the Madison location after being detailed. Instead, when I arrived—knowing I had a three-hour drive ahead during Thanksgiving week—the car was dirty inside and out, as if it had been driven through mud. When I pointed it out, the employee at pickup offered to clean it after the holiday if I brought it back, but I don’t live in the area, so that wasn’t an option. In addition, shortly after leaving, my low-coolant light came on. I understand that can happen when a car sits for a while, but checking coolant levels should be part of a standard inspection before returning the vehicle. These are my only complaints, but they did impact the overall experience. Since the detailing that was promised was not done, I feel it would be fair for Caliber to provide a voucher for a free detailing service to make up for the inconvenience. The repair work itself was solid—I just wish the final steps had matched the same level of care.
