Depending on how they deal with the orange peel texture and scratch, I'd be inclined to recommend because of the association with USAA, my insurer for many years.

I was impressed by the friendliness and professionalism in San Carlos, as well as by the timeliness of completion. Reassembly of my vehicle and cleanliness was also good. However, there was more noticeable orange peel texture in the paint job than I had expected. On noting this when I picked up the car, Brian (who was very helpful in walking me through the work) acknowledged the texture and suggested I could bring the car back after the paint cures in 30 days, to have the clearcoat re-sanded and polished. I will probably do that, as I am noticing the orange peel even more in a variety of lighting. Also, I've noticed a small (1/4") scratch with missing paint. As my car is silver, I only noticed the scratch after a couple days when it filled with dirt and became noticeable (I picked up the car on a Tuesday and noticed the scratch on Friday). I'm certain I did not cause the scratch, as I have been carefully parking the car so that the newly painted driver's side has been protected from the possibility of door dings, etc.

See above. Also, Rosa at the front desk is great. Tony and Brian were very professional and cordial. Also, the 5 free days of a rental from Enterprise was great -- that alone was reason to go with Caliber.

The customer service was excellent expect for one issue. I was told the car would be ready around Tuesday, on Monday I got a call saying it wasn't going to be ready until Thursday, which is fine, and that I'd get another call Wednesday. Wednesday came and went, thursday came and went and then I finally got a call on Friday. If you say you're going to call someone on a particular day, do it
