The door looks great and I didn’t have to deal much with my insurance company and they helped me get OEM parts like we wanted & it was very fast & I never had to drive to the rental car place

Mike and the crew at Carstar Orange were outstanding. I’m no expert in the auto body industry, however I do have some experience. My father owned and operated an auto body shop for over 35 years until his retirement in 1996. Carstar Orange was one of the cleanest auto body shops I’ve ever visited. All areas including the waiting room, customer restroom, shop, and the immediate area surrounding the building were immaculate. There was no bondo dust, grease or spilled oil anywhere to be found. The uniforms worn by the employees were clean and pressed. Mike and the crew were friendly, informative and knowledgeable. All my questions and concerns were promptly addressed. The job they did on my Jeep doors was incredible. The paint match was superb and the fit and finish of their work was amazing. I highly recommend Carstar Orange.

While the communication was consistent and reps were friendly, the second part of the situation left a pretty bad taste in my mouth. I am concerned that the vehicle went under numerous tests and now my entire Toyota account had my vehicle removed and I am waiting for them to tow my car to an undisclosed location without an ETA for further work. “ We understand and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused you, this is the first time this happens here at the shop but its not rare, now days with the newer vehicles there is a lot more sensors that come in to play when repairing a vehicle, This sensor unfortunately gave out after the vehicle was repaired and left the shop but we are trying to get this fixed as soon as possible, and that is why we sent our tech to your residence to try to accommodate for the inconvenience. We are hoping that it will be done before that time, Mike had to step out of the office and will be back at 12 :) If you still have concerns in regards your vehicle repairs i would suggest giving him a call here at the shop or you can email him directly at [email protected]” While I understand modern vehicles have more complexity, that doesn’t excuse the outcome or the tone of this response. Saying “it’s not rare these days” minimizes the impact on me. I now have a car that doesn’t function after leaving the shop, and I’m left dealing with the fallout. I appreciate that someone came to my home, but I need clearer communication, real accountability, and a concrete plan for resolution - not just updates that my car has moved through the stages like a Dominos pizza tracker. Respectfully and with much love.
