This survey concerns my experience with Crash Champions Mokena, Center No. 0576. Because my complaint involves the location’s general manager, Joe Vanek, I am requesting that this response be escalated to district and corporate leadership rather than handled solely by the Mokena location. After approximately a month and a half, I was told that my BMW was completed and ready to take home. It was visibly nowhere near ready. Original damage remained, the paintwork appeared grainy and defective, parts were improperly fitted or reassembled, and my previously pristine interior was filthy, covered with dirt, debris, and handprints, and had sustained additional damage. The exterior was also covered with debris from fence construction beside customers’ vehicles. Throughout the repair process, I received virtually no meaningful communication. I repeatedly asked Joe Vanek to call me and was repeatedly told that he would. He never did. When I arrived and saw the condition of my BMW, I was crying and visibly distressed. Instead of inspecting the vehicle, answering my questions, or showing basic concern, Joe yelled at me, made dismissive comments about his workload and having worked on more expensive vehicles than mine, waved me away, walked into the garage, and closed the automatic garage door while I was still attempting to speak with him. I had to duck beneath the moving door. My BMW ultimately had to be transferred to Crash Champions Crestwood for extensive corrective work. Lauren and Luke inspected and documented the remaining original damage, defective workmanship, improper reassembly, contamination, and additional damage that occurred while my vehicle was at Mokena. I appreciate the professionalism and kindness they have shown while attempting to correct Mokena’s failures. However, their intervention does not erase what happened at Mokena. I was denied meaningful communication, presented with a visibly incomplete and damaged vehicle, and treated with hostility and humiliation when I asked for answers. I still do not have my BMW.

Absolutely not! No only will I not recommend Crash Champion’s, I will share my experience to anyone who is looking for auto repairs
Repair Quality - 0.5/5.0 -
My car is at Crash Champion from June 25 through September 10th poor bodywork. That only was an excessive amount of time for the repairs, an interior part of my car went missing, and one of the doors that was repaired unacceptable. There was no communication, no callbacks no explanation as to why this repair took such a long time. It’s absolutely an excuse. Not only will I never recommend Crash Champion, I will tell everyone about my experience and to avoid Crash Champion’s of Mokena at all costs.

Crash Champions gets a ZERO out of 10. I ended up contacting corporate. It took over 8 weeks to get my car back, and technically, it's still incomplete. The original estimate was 10 days. Then they kept pushing me off, ~4 days here, a week there. During all of those 8 weeks. . . *I* was the person to initiate contact when my estimated date of delivery came. And every time they said "Not yet...". Note, they never said "Sorry, Mr. ." Additionally, one time I contacted them and they said "OH, there was damage from the recent storm. What actually happened is still unclear to me. And they never provided pictures. Once I contacted corporate, it really hardly improved things. Maybe communication. But that's it. When they finally told me the car was done, it was *NOT*! They said they couldn't install the clear vinyl on the front end yet because the paint was fresh. (makes sense, but, they didn't tell me that before I arrived, and now it'll inconvenience my family for another day as I find a way to drive my wife to work or find some other means of transportation. The other part was poor QC. I looked over the car on the exterior; it looked good. I opened it up, started it. When I got out of the car I noticed a long weather strip was hanging off the bottom edge of the car (from the front wheel to rear). Yes, it's broken and needs to be replaced. How is stuff like this missed. Not only was my family stressed and we were all furious, but never during those 8+ weeks did we truly feel like we were taken care of or being taken seriously. Big fail by crash champions. Corporate dropped the ball by not having a higher ranking person call me and promise they were going to make this right.

Why would I recommend a place to anyone I liked, that was horrible, never said “sorry”, and failed to deliver over and over leading to stress on my family?

Except they should be more conscience of the interior of the car if it is a light color, when they are dirty getting into the vehicle and touching the interior. Example my interior of my car is all bright white. But when I got the car back the driver seat had dirt all over it and the center console and part of the passenger seat.
