Apparently did not use a Toyota replacement part. I'm assuming the part that was used is equivalent, but I have no way of knowing.

Jody was always very friendly when I called, and I certainly appreciated that, but there was never any communication without me calling until the car was about ready when I got a flurry of emails. I got ZERO communication from Allstate.

The job was done with such precision that the car felt like a new vehicle. I was also surprised that my car was cleaned inside and out.

Drives much straighter after repair. Alignment is solid! Cleaned my filthy truck inside and out! Added new wheels to job and they coordinated delivery to Les Schwab. Great service!

Jody was great to work with, although her trainee (Colleen?) bit my ankle. (Just kidding)

The quality of the repair mostly looks good; the exception is that the paint blending on the front bumper and panel is pretty marginal.

1. After the appraisal, there was a wait of 2 months for the next available appointment. 2. I called the week before my appointment to make sure they had ordered the parts and were ready for my car - only to be told they wouldn't order the parts until my car was physically in the shop! What is that about?? Then, instead of "a couple of days" to get parts, it was 10 days before repairs were started. 3. There were multiple postponements of the estimated completion date. I had to return my rental car 10 days before my car was actually done. 4. My dissatisfaction regarding the above issues could have been largely avoided by better communication from the shop's personnel (specifically, the manager). I would have appreciated hearing a reasonable explanation for not ordering parts in preparation for my car (Jody tried - not her fault). Similarly, more timely and complete updates regarding the repair status would have been appreciated - and would have alleviated much of my frustration with the process.

The Fix Auto South Seattle repairs appears to be good. We’ll see. Overall however, I’m disappointed. Time: I dropped my car off on 5/29… where it then sat, until 6/7 before being worked on. Inaccurate Estimate: The preliminary estimate was $364. The final invoice was $950. Lack of Communication: I had to call them on 5/31 to get the status report that they had to order parts that would arrive 6/5. On 6/7, I was contacted by automated text that the repair was completed. Quote Bait & Switch: No one from Fix Auto South Seattle ever contacted me (not by phone nor by email) that the cost of repairs was going up $600+. Zero communication about this. Isn’t that illegal? Doesn’t Washington State law require the payer (me) to be informed prior to proceeding with work? Without having been informed, the final invoice when I went to pick up my car today (6/10) was shocking (and disappointing) to say the least.

Despite being unclear on when I would get my car back/how long the repair would take, the team (Joan and Ben) kept me informed on progress.
