This was the first time that I have used a body shop. It would have been helpful to be told in advance that my car would be needed for 5-6 business days. I did not learn this until I dropped off the car, thinking it would be available at the end of the day. I'm not questioning the need to keep the car for 5-6 business days. I assume this is not uncommon in the industry. All I am asking is be apprised in advance. I had not reserved a rental car nor had I coordinated with my wife to see if we could get by with one car until mine was ready.
