Some smiling faces in the front office but ultimately smiling faces don't repair vehicles. I had a light crinkle in the rear end of a 2021 ModelY and I found it myself upon pickup, and the car was whizzed around to get "fixed". Moments later at the supercharger down the block in Rocklin, I found the tow hitch cover plate was HOT GLUED in place!! Wow. Is HOT GLUE A FACTORY AUTHORIZED TESLA REPAIR PART? Not on the $3,200 in body labor alone charged to insurance, of which I can personally validate some parts were charged but weren't replaced... License plate frame brackets, gromets and emblems? I put those on myself and they're the ones I put on myself. I'm informing the insurance company which incidentally is Tesla Insurance they're getting taken advantage of. I suppose that's the insurance game but they need to know, if it were my dollar I'd appreciate the heads up. I'm getting the rolling eye from the staff like I'm the bad guy for pointing out my repair is being held together by hot glue but is HOT GLUE EVER A REPAIR PART IN THE TOOL BOX? It wasn’t part of the many parts billed for that I can validate weren't even replaced. 😩 UGH.

I had to wait for the car to be cleaned when I arrived to pick it up. As a consequence I had to reschedule an appointment. Although the quality of the work appears to be generally good, there is an area on the upper edge of the replaced tail gate that does not appear to have any paint on it and is rough.

After receiving a call from Kayla to explain their overview of the car, I was pleased that Kniesel’s took the time to make sure the car was completely repaired. Kayla was very understanding and went the extra step to get me into a rental car. I plan on seeing her for another little scratch on my other car. Kniesel’s has definitely earned our service!
