First, my car sat in the parking lot with my keys on the receptionist desk for a week and a half before they realized they had the car. That meant by the time it was finished, I had to pay part of the rental car because it was overdo due to that delay. Then, when I picked up the car, I quickly discovered it has 2 major issues for which I am trying to set up an appointment to have it checked out and corrected.

Fantastic experience working with Rick’s! They were recommend among the local crowd, good digital footprint, and were on my insurance as a partnered business to work with. What really impressed me was how their manager Joey listened to me when there was a dispute with the insurance. My insurance refused to fund an alignment, disregarding the mechanics initial recommendation. I shared with Joey that I felt it to be inappropriate for insurance to disagree with the mechanics insight. Joey responded sharing some insight on working with insurance, citing a co-dependent relationship based on trust between them. They have a professional obligation to be transparent between customers and insurance providers. I responded acknowledging how that’s important, and asked how we could manage my concerns. Joey put the customer first, engaged with my insurance to emphasize his mechanics views to be in the interest of safety and a throughly done repair to the customer’s needs. In the end, the insurance agreed to fund an alignment and the vehicle was in-fact, found to be out of alignment. I got the vehicle back later that same day and it’s perfect. Rick’s earned my trust through Joey’s and his teams experience, insight and skills. Moral of the story: Hold your insurance company accountable to the recommendations of the providers they use. Adjusters are no more mechanics than the customer. Moreover, Rick’s has the experience to manage those dynamics!
